WLR Pottery
reshaping the earth
The Happy Potter
I have focused my passion on artistic and functional wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery for over 20 years. My pieces express a simple and delicate touch reflective of the very earth from which they are shaped. I find tremendous joy and inspiration turning a ball of clay into an artistic vessel that someone will use and enjoy.
In the community: I volunteer at School in the Woods for their annual tile project. I love working with the kids, often helping them explore beyond their comfort zones.
I received my formal training in ceramics at the University of Denver and I continually refine my pottery skills at workshops and conferences in the US and internationally.
I love to exhibit in regional shows and am an artist on the
Art All Around Studio Tour. I've also participated in the Pikes Peak Studio Tour. I am a member of Gallery 113, and you can also find my pottery in Kreuser Gallery,
Poor Richard's and Reserve - Our Gallery in Woodland Park.
